Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Waverly is ready to start the next chapter of her life, one that’s all about her.
After lovingly raising her puppies, Waverly is now healthy, gaining weight, and discovering the fun of life in a home. While she appeared calm and reserved in the shelter, her foster home has revealed her true personality: outgoing, playful, smart, and full of joy.
Waverly LOVES toys, especially anything that squeaks or makes noise. She proudly discovered the toy stash on day one and hasn’t looked back since! Her ideal day includes breakfast, toy time, a walk, zoomies in the yard, and then a good nap once her energy is out. She enjoys running in circles, chasing squirrels, or just sprinting for the fun of it.
She does well with other dogs and engages her foster brother in play by showing off her toys. While she can be a bit protective of her toys at first, this has improved as she’s settled in and built trust. She may prefer calmer dog companions but can absolutely thrive with the right match and supervision.
Waverly is very smart and food-motivated, making her eager to learn and quick to pick up routines. She would do best in a home that can provide continued training, structure, and an outlet for her energy. Once her needs are met, she crashes hard and enjoys her downtime.
She loves people, enjoys cuddling, and strikes a lovely balance between affectionate and independent. She is possibly cat friendly, meaning she tested well with them in the shelter, but hasn't lived with one full time.
Waverly has come such a long way, from a skinny mom focused on her pups to a confident, happy dog ready to prioritize herself. We believe her perfect home is out there, and she’s more than ready to meet them 🐾💙
