My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Working Cat**

Found as a stray, this older girl clearly survived by grit, instinct, and an unshakable sense of self. Life on her own has made her independent.

Wyck isn’t looking for a typical retirement couch. She’s looking for purpose. While she can be affectionate in quiet, respectful moments, she overstimulates easily and prefers her space. Too much handling or attention just isn’t her style. What she does want is room to roam, a job to do, and people who understand that love doesn’t always look like cuddles.

An ideal home for Wyck is an unconventional one: a barn, warehouse, workshop, or property where she can patrol, explore, and feel useful, with human interaction on her terms. She’s not a lap cat—she’s a working girl with a past, a backbone, and a strong sense of boundaries.
