Volunteer Update:  I believe Ripkin with his adorable heart nose desperately wants to be loved.  If he's hiding or sleeping corner and you quietly speak to him, he will come over, rub all over you, and even curl up in your lap when he feels confident.  He is a "look you in the eye"  who seems to be asking for someone to take care of him.

Staff Update:  Ripken gets more and more outgoing as he gets used to shelter living.  Sometimes when I first walk in the room he wants to kiss me and then wants some good scratches and pets.  He loves his belly rubbed and is a dream when it comes time to trim his nails.
