My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Layla is a special kitty with an outgoing and affectionate personality. She loves to snuggle up for long naps under cozy covers, enjoying warmth and comfort. When she's awake, she's playful and energetic, often running around with rattling toys that keep her entertained. Layla does have a few quirks, and would do best in a calm, adult-only home. She is stressed by other cats and young children and would not be a good fit with dogs. Experienced adopters are a plus since Layla can be easily stressed. Her playful, affectionate nature will make her an absolutely delightful companion in the right home. Please reach out or come on in for more information on sweet Layla!

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
