My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marlowe came to rescue as an abandoned, scrawny little kitten. After some medical care and a lot of volunteer lovin', she has grown into a beautiful young lady who is now waiting for her future home in foster. Marlow has some beautiful markings and the saddest eyes to melt your heart! Marlowe is a sweetheart with a shy disposition, until she's ready to play! She's perfectly comfortable hiding under the bed, but she's just as comfortable coming to snuggle with you for pets. Her purring can be heard from across the room - she even purrs while she's eating! If she wants your attention, she's going to let you know - through meowing, playing, and little head butts. In true cat fashion, Marlowe would be great in a home that gives her space when she wants it and also welcomes all the love she craves.

Arrange a Meet and Greet to let this beautiful girl charm her way into your home!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

Go meet their pets

Most of our pets all live in our homes, so adoption applications must be submitted for appointments to be made to see the pets. We also have them with us at our outdoor events, so view our "events" calendar on our website for those dates and locations.
