My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dont let those soulful eyes fool you Marlowe is a playful, confident girl with plenty of spunk!

This fun-loving feline is ready to trade the shelter life for a forever home. Marlowe warms up quickly to new kitty friends and loves playtime, especially when spring toys are involved (theyre her absolute favorite!).

Shes polite but self-assured, happily setting respectful boundaries with her canine companions. Marlowe is an independent lady who enjoys being close to her people without needing to be in their lap the perfect near-you, not-on-you companion. When shes ready for affection, shell be sure to let you know in her own sweet way.

If youre looking for a playful, confident cat who balances fun with independence, Marlowe just might be your perfect match.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

Go meet their pets

Most of our pets all live in our homes, so adoption applications must be submitted for appointments to be made to see the pets. We also have them with us at our outdoor events, so view our "events" calendar on our website for those dates and locations.
