Pookah is as beautiful on the outside as he is on the inside. He’s the perfect size to snuggle with, and his fluffy coat and sweet face make him look like a living plush toy. But what truly makes him special is his affectionate, loving nature—he adores being close to people, and he’ll greet you with soft meows and purrs to let you know how happy he is to see you. This is a very hard post to write. Pookah has been my beloved companion through so many chapters of my life. But I am a newly certified over-the-road national truck driver, and I have exhausted every option for keeping him at home safely. Pookah is truly adoption-ready—he’s a calm, low-maintenance cat with no special medical needs, and he doesn’t require any extreme vetting or treatment to settle into a new home. He is already litter-trained, easygoing, and well-adjusted to indoor living. All he needs is a basic grooming session to help manage his to help manage his long, soft coat and a home filled with love.
