My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bristol may be sweet and look like a pretty little princess kitty but she doesn’t act like one! Brissy came to TCR as a single 3-week-old kitten found all alone with no littermates or mom. She has always been confident and determined. Bristol is a girl who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to ask for it... or go get it herself!

Bristol is all energy and loves to run, jump, climb and rough-and-tumble play. She can make anything a toy. Currently, her favorite toy is her wet food dish. She throws it around and her foster mom finds it in the weirdest places, like her litter box.

Speaking of wet food, Bristol loves wet food, churu and turkey lunch meat (in moderation of course). When Bristol isn’t running around like a crazy girl, she can be found snoozing in her hammock. We feel like Bristol can do well in a variety of homes. She loves her foster mom’s dog and other cats. She hasn’t been around children, but we think she would love respectful, cat savvy children. What we don’t think would be a good fit is a home with an older cat, as she is too much for the older cats in her foster home. She would need another younger, high-energy friend who loves to run and wrestle.

Bristol is almost six months old. She has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Do you have an active cat at home who would love a sweet and playful friend? Apply to adopt Bristol today!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.

Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.

Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.

Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

6.

Pay Fee

7.

Additional adoption info

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

More about this rescue

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.

Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
