Bonita is as beautiful as her name, with a gentle, quiet nature that has been shining through more and more as she learns to trust people. A devoted mother who was once very protective of her little ones, she is now beginning to open up and show her sweet personality. While she can be shy, easily startled, or nervous in new situations, her curiosity and friendliness are guiding her forward. Bonita is learning that people can be safe and loving, and she will reward patience with soft head bumps, purrs, and even biscuits when she feels comfortable.
She enjoys her catnip toys-especially mice, yarn balls, and sparkly tinsel balls-and is starting to join in on chasing games with growing confidence. Respectful of personal space, Bonita is not demanding but appreciates affection on her own terms. She can be picked up and will happily rest on your lap, offering quiet companionship and warmth.

We also have some of our cat/kitten(s) currently up for adoption that you can meet at our PetSmart Charities Adoption Centers located at 1208 Deer Park Ave, N. Babylon, NY & 535 Montauk Hwy, W. Babylon, NY. We have volunteers there Mon-Sat 9-11am & 6-8pm Sunday 9-11am & 4-6pm. At this time, potential adopters can meet our adoptable cat/kitten(s) at our PetSmart Adoption Center locations by appointment ONLY.
