Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spruce has survived a very difficult past as a former stray. Along the way, she lost one of her back legs, but despite everything, she continues to face life with quiet strength and resilience.
Now a three-legged girl, Spruce can be a little cautious at first, but once she feels safe, her gentle and affectionate nature shines through. She enjoys calm moments and finds comfort simply in having someone nearby.
Spruce loves being indoors and is happiest when she can relax and nap at home. She doesn’t require long or frequent walks—occasional, gentle walks are more than enough for her. She also enjoys spending time in a yard, playing or resting at her own pace.
She gets along well with other dogs and can thrive in a home with canine companions.
Spruce would likely be a perfect match for seniors, older adults, or anyone looking for a low-maintenance companion. Her calm nature and modest exercise needs make her easy to care for and wonderful company. She would also be a great fit for people living in apartments, as she adapts well to smaller living spaces.
Spruce doesn’t need a perfect home—she just needs a family who will accept her as she is, and give her love and patience. Meeting you could be the true beginning of her happily-ever-after.
