Blitzle is a shy but playful boy who could use a confident feline role model to help bring him out of his shell. With the help of his foster brother and goofy sisters, he’s almost ready to evolve into a shockingly confident young man. He’s quickly stolen his foster family’s hearts and made friends with their adult cats by displaying impeccable manners. He was born on a horse ranch in Vacaville and lovingly raised by 2 of our foster families. He currently lives with a teenaged boy that he’s comfortable sitting with on the couch for video gaming time. He has lived with dogs, but hasn’t interacted with them-he may do well with slow introductions to dogs who ignore cats. Blitzle is named for the electric zebra Pokémon and is a neutered, shorthair, brown tabby.

Fosters are microchipped, combo tested for FIV/FELV, spayed/neutered, treated for fleas/parasites, and receive age/wellness appropriate vaccines. We lovingly pack a Welcome Home Hero gift bag with their favorite toys, treats, a comic to read with them, and a blanket that helps them feel safe anywhere they go. Interview
Interview and in home meet and greet are typically done on the same day, it helps everyone get to know each other.

Sign Adoption Contract
If all goes well, you sign the contract, get a full medical and behavioral summary, and pay our adoption fee. You are given copies.

We have an open door policy and provide ongoing counseling during the adjustment period as well.

We work hard to educate the community about why spaying and neutering is important. We only take cats that are non adoptable in shelters which includes feral, abused, abandoned, and traumatized cats and kittens. We heal them inside and out using positive reinforcement and force free techniques. Last, we provide assistance to low income families to help them fix their pets, provide food to feral cat colony managers, and sponsor adoption fees for those who need a pet and can afford their care but not an additional fee.
