My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Skyler is a young, playful pup bursting with energy and affection. He is a happy-go-lucky dog who will soak up all the love he can get. Clever and a little mischievous, he may run off with a sock if you leave it on the floor. He has perfected the downward dog stance with tail wag to let you know he wants to play.

At just a year old, Skyler is eager to please, easy to redirect, and already walks beautifully on a leash. He is also good with chilling on the coach to watch a movie. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has a gentle playstyle which would make him a good fit for both big and medium dogs.

We think Skyler is a Boxer/Husky mix but aren't sure. He currently weights 50lbs but may fill out a bit more.

This joyful boy is ready to bring laughter and love to his forever family. Skyler is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and available for adoption with a donation of $250.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Whether a potential adopter meets the dog at an adoption event or sees them online, we need an adoption application to begin the process

2.
Interview

The second step is a phone call so I can tell the adopter all about the dog, and find out more about their lifestyle.

3.
Home Check

The most important step! All members of the house hold need to be there. I check the yard and the home.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

We let them know we will keep the dog chipped to us and that if they can't keep the dog, he/she comes back to us. Adoption fee is collected

5.
Take the Pet Home

We check in with a couple days, a couple weeks and a month after they adopt to make sure the dog is adjusting well and give any help needed
