Yellow is a charming orange-and-white senior tabby with a heart as warm as his coat that came into our care in August 2025. With his adorable permanent head tilt (vet-approved and totally okay!), this chatty gentleman is known for announcing his arrival long before you see him. Yellow has had some dental extractions, which sometimes give him a hilarious little derp face, tongue peeks and all, but it only adds to his irresistible personality. Social to his core, he loves greeting people, seeking out pets, and gently inserting himself into whatever you're doing. He came into our care after his previous owner sadly had to move somewhere pets weren’t allowed, and he’s been nothing but sweet ever since. Yellow does great with kids and would shine as an only cat, though he’s polite enough to coexist with feline friends. If you’re looking for a loving, quirky companion who’ll always keep you smiling, Yellow might be your perfect match.
If you are interested in Yellow, please fill out an adoption application at https://valleyanimal.org/cat-adoption-application/. His adoption fee is donation based which includes neuter, up-to-date vaccines, microchip and preventatives.
We are open for walk ins Saturday and Sunday 10-4! We are appointment based WED-FRI 12-4!

More about this shelter
Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.
We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.
Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
