My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kandi and Kane are a sensitive sibling pair. Kandi is the sweet tortoiseshell sister who socializes easily with treats. Kane is the handsome brown tabby brother who will hide during the daytime but come out to visit with you in the evening while you are watching TV or chilling quietly otherwise in the house. Kandi and Kane like to hide together, but Kane will also find a quiet corner and hide by himself.

These two beautiful cats provide comfort and protection for one another and therefore it would be best if they are adopted together as a pair. They have changed foster homes a few times since 2025, so they will be needing a patient owner who can provide a stable and peaceful place they can call home.

They are both quite timid, but can be coaxed out of being afraid by providing rewards with treats or soft words of praise and admiration.

Female (Kandi - Tortie) /Male (Kane - Brown Tabby)

DOB: 06/01/23

This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
