Firefly was captured from a large cat colony, where he was found to be terribly underweight. His tail was covered in feces to the point where it had to be shaved. He needed so many baths during the first few weeks of his rescue because he kept messing himself. The situation was so stressful for the little guy, but now that he's feeling better, he can't wait to find a forever home!
Firefly is a bit shy at first, but once he comes around, he's a playful, active kitty! He loves to play with his wand toys and laser pointer when you sit down with him. He loves his mealtimes and will take kitty cookie bribes whenever you hand them out! He has improved so much with his demeanor since being in his foster home. He loves to be petted and even lets me hold him for snuggles. Then the purring begins. He will be a charmer once he settles in to a new home.
Since he was born in a larger cat colony with minimal human interaction, he tends to be more comfortable around other felines. That's why we want this handsome boy to be adopted with a buddy or have a kitty friend at home waiting for him! They can help him be brave and feel more secure in his new environment. It would go a long way for him, especially how he loves to hang out with his kitty friends at his foster home! So if you have a cat at home who needs a friend, consider Firefly today!
