Arabella has lost 15 lbs and continues to do great on her weight loss journey and her specialized exercise program. She watches her diet (Natural Balance, Fat Dog), and although she is a low energy dog, she regularly does agility with the lizards (she's amazing!) and does an aerobic jump and dance routine from the kitchen to her crate at meal times. When Arabella is not working out, she is very gentle and quiet. She definitely likes to be around people. She stays close to her foster mom but isn't overly snuggly. Arabella also enjoys the outdoors, working on her sun tan and periodically applying a natural grass balm to her coat -- especially on her back! She is house trained and will stand by the door or scratch when she wants to go out. She would be embarrassed, but we must tell you that Arabella snores In her sleep -- loudly! So her foster mom has her sleep in a dog bed in the hallway outside her room. She's not fond of being left alone, and does not like being crated, so she has agreed to behave herself and not engage in any naughty behavior, other than some whining. Arabella is heartworm negative and ready to go on sleepover, but we really need a family for her who will diligently continue with her weight loss program - short walks, managed meals and weigh-ins to monitor progress. She deserves this and more!
