Meet Ricky — an inquisitive, hilarious, fearless young boy who absolutely lives for cuddles. He was found at just two months old, soaked to the bone after enduring days of heavy rain. One of our rescuers scooped him up and brought him to safety, and he hasn’t looked back since.

Ricky is the ultimate little “helper.” Washing dishes? He’s supervising. Vacuuming? He’s inspecting. Folding laundry or making dinner? He needs to be involved. His curiosity knows no bounds, and his playful, investigative nature makes every day entertaining. His fur is rabbit-soft like an Abyssinian’s coat, and his purr is impressively loud for such a young boy.

There is one small hiccup with this special guy. After spending who knows how long out in the rain, Ricky developed Mycoplasma, which causes him to sneeze several times in a row at least once a day to clear his sinuses. It may be something he lives with long term, but it doesn’t slow him down or dampen his joyful spirit.

Ricky is wonderful with children, dogs, and other cats, though he can play a little rough with his feline friends. He would thrive in a home that appreciates his big personality, playful antics, and affectionate heart.

We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, combo tested and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip registration.
