We picked up Maple after she was abandoned on a country road north of Big Sandy Tx several months ago. Our intention was to foster her until we can find her a good home, but we can't keep her forever.
Although we do not know her exact age, the vet estimated her to be about 2 years old. Maple can be a very high-energy dog and has a number of puppy qualities we are working with her on. She has taken well to her training and hasn't counter surfed in over a month.
Maple has been around kids as young as 10 without issue. She gets along with the two smaller dogs in our home; any issues have been minor and have come down to her not taking a hint when trying to play with our grumpy terrier.
Maple is playful, sweet, and would make a great addition to anyone's home. She wants to be in whatever room you are in and has good protective instincts. She is very smart and extremely food-motivated.
