Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mondo is a striking German Shepherd mix who takes his job as “Chief Perimeter Inspector” very seriously. At around 2 years old, this handsome guy is always on alert, watching everything around him like a canine security camera (with better ears). He’s incredibly smart, walks great on a leash, and is crate trained like a pro.
But don’t let his serious stare fool you—Mondo has a goofy side too. He loves to play ball and will happily chase it until your arm gets tired. When he's in his element, you’ll see that spark of silly energy that makes you laugh even on tough days.
Mondo isn’t your average couch potato — this dog wants to move! He’d thrive with an adventurous, outdoorsy human who enjoys hiking, traveling, or just tossing a ball in the backyard. Shelter life is starting to wear on him, and he's showing signs of kennel depression. He urgently needs out — ideally into the home of someone active, consistent, and calm.
Because of a behavioral issue in his past, Mondo needs an adult-only home with no other pets. He has strong guarding instincts and would do best with someone experienced in working or protective breeds. He’s not looking to be everyone’s friend — just someone’s everything.
Mondo has never had the chance to truly bond with someone, but we believe there’s a soft heart behind that watchful exterior. With time, patience, and structure, he has the potential to discover what it means to feel safe, understood, and finally… home.

Once the fee is paid, its time to take home your new BFF. Someone from our organization will be following up to see if you have any questions and how the initial transition is going for you and your pet.
