My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💕 Meet Charlotte – The Brave Heart Learning to Love Again

Born at an abandoned house and left to fend for herself, Charlotte has never known the warmth of a home or the gentle touch of a loving human—until now. Rescued from a life of solitude and survival, Charlotte is slowly learning what it means to feel safe, cherished, and part of something bigger than herself.

With her striking looks and strong build, Charlotte can come across as intimidating to those who don’t take the time to truly see her. But beneath that powerful presence is a heart full of untapped affection, waiting patiently for someone willing to earn her trust and show her what love really means.

Charlotte is currently heartworm positive, but she’s being cared for and is under treatment with monthly heartworm prevention as recommended by our veterinarian. She’s healthy, happy, and ready to continue her recovery in a loving home — all she needs is someone to walk beside her on this journey.

Charlotte is not a dog who will instantly run into your arms—but she is the kind of dog who will form a deep, meaningful bond with someone who’s patient, understanding, and committed. She’s learning every day that the world doesn’t have to be scary—and she needs someone to keep guiding her along that path.

If you believe in second chances, in the beauty of watching a soul bloom, and in the reward of earning unconditional trust—Charlotte just might be your once-in-a-lifetime dog. ❤️
