My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I’m Salsa. I’m looking for a very special home. I’m a sweet girl that is still learning what it means to be an inside, loved, and cherished family member. I was trapped from a feral colony and it’s taken me a while to learn the ways of an inside house cat. I’m as cute as a button and at only 6 months old, I still have a lot of learning and growing to do. I’m on the smaller side, by my beautiful yellow and green eyes and super soft fur make up for it. I’m looking for a home that will just let me be a cat while I continue to come out of my shell. I LOVE other cats and have thrived in my foster home with all my cat friends. I have also done well with the dogs here, but it did take me a while to warm up to them. I don’t enjoy being held, but I do love sitting beside you on the couch or laying by your feet on the bed. I will allow pets, especially if you have treats! I’m looking for an indoor only home with lots of toys, cat playmates, and a sunny window to nap in. If you have any questions, please email Lauren.johnson14@aol.com. If you have the perfect special home for me, please fully fill out an application at https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application/laurenj
