Meet Sweetness!

She was given her name for a reason; she is so sweet! This girl loves treats, being pet, and human attention. When exposed to other cats, she growls, but does not display aggression. At this time, Sweetness has not been exposed to dogs.

Born around June of 2024, she was a young mama. She was a street cat that was probably dumped young and pregnant. She gave birth to her five kittens in a filthy abandoned building. Rescue team members searched for days to find them, then Sweetness finally led them to her kittens. She was the best mama to her babies, and now it is her turn to find the forever home she deserves! No more living on the streets for this girl. Won't you give her the home she deserves?

Sweetness was born around June 18, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.

We are a foster-based rescue. All our cats reside in private homes. A meet-and-greet can be arranged for approved adopters only.

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.fosterandforever.org. If all is well on your application, we will contact you about setting up a home visit by one of our volunteers.

**Please give your vet permission to release information to us as we check references.

The adoption fee for our cats covers the cost of spaying/neutering, age appropriate routine vaccinations, deworming, snap test, and flea preventive treatment. Some of our older cats are offered at a reduced fee in order to encourage placement in a permanent home.

Foster and Forever Pet Rescue Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue that was founded in 2011. We have been working since then to improve the lives of abandoned, abused and homeless animals by serving as an umbrella under which foster homes will provide care for homeless animals until loving permanent homes can be found.

We provide spay/neuter services and all necessary medical care, as well as food and supplies, and find foster homes to care for the animals we rescue until we are able to find them forever homes.
