Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Though Periwinkle may be a bit reserved at first, her gentle spirit quickly shines through as she grows comfortable in her surroundings. Once she feels safe, Periwinkle’s affectionate side emerges—she’ll softly nuzzle your hand and curl up beside you, purring with contentment. Playtime brings out her adventurous streak; she delights in batting at feather toys and chasing after jingling balls, her delicate paws moving with surprising speed. She’s often found perched at the window, quietly captivated by fluttering birds and scampering squirrels, completely engrossed in her favorite “cat TV.”
Periwinkle prefers the peace of a cozy, quiet home, where she can relax and recharge. She’s independent and never demands constant attention, but she never turns down gentle cuddles or soft head scratches. With patience and love, Periwinkle blossoms into a devoted companion, her loving nature bringing warmth and calm to everyone lucky enough to share their home with her. Her subtle sweetness and tranquil energy make her a cherished friend for those who appreciate a more serene feline presence.

More about this rescue
We are dog and cat lovers who want to help decrease the number of healthy pets being euthanized. We do this through adopting pets to caring homes and by spaying and neutering every pet before it is adopted out. We operate a Thrift store named Critters, which is volunteer run with all money brought goes to support our "No Kill" rescue. Critters is located on the same property as our shelter. We take in homeless animals because they are in need and are unable to help themselves.
