Whitney was found as a stray dog in the Korean mountain. Her mom gave birth to 4 puppies under a container box in November 2022. One day, people noticed 2 puppies died and 2 remained. They were tied up to a post and fed by a local woman. Eventually, our rescue partners were alerted and were able to save mama and the 2 pups. One of the pups being Whitney.
Whitney is incredibly smart and knows many basic commands. She’s pretty good on the leash as well. Her favorite thing is to go for walks! She’s around 27lbs and full of love. She’s ok with dogs she’s met and scared of cats. Foster family has a cat and she runs away or sometimes tries to chase.
Whitney completed Heartworm treatment in November ‘24 and is healthy now.
She has started finally warming up to people and trusting they will not hurt her. Whitney was let down her whole life and deserves a true forever family.
She is currently being fostered in Los Angeles. If you live in the USA, specifically the west coast, please apply!

Our dogs at The Big 3 Rescue have been let down by humans, and it is our mission to ensure we provide the best possible future for them—to rehabilitate them and allow them to experience their own safe place in the form of their forever homes. For this reason, we prioritize finding them the best homes over finding ‘the perfect pet’ for you. Please be mindful of this when applying/adopting an animal.
