Dallas was rescued with her three kittens (Leah, Thea and Oreo) near the home of one of our volunteers. She was slated to be released back outside to her colony after her spay surgery. During recovery we discovered that she had the potential to be a great indoor cat. All she had to do was learn how to trust people. Now after several months of work, Dallas is learning to enjoy home life. She loves to cuddle up, look out the window and with plenty of patience can be an amazing lap cat. Dallas is still scared of small children but is ok with older children. She is good with other cats but very scared of dogs. Dallas needs a patient adopter who will give her plenty of love and time to develop trust and a bond. We promise you though it will be worth it!
Dallas was born on September 27, 2022, is up to date with vaccines, spayed, negative for FIV/FELV and microchipped. She can be seen in her foster home by appointment or on the days she is at Petco Bricktown Way or PetSmart Forest Ave for adoption events.
For more information contact SICAW at 718.948.5623, Mon-Sat, 9am-8pm.
