Dexter was rescued from the county shelter by a kind soul who just wants to see him find a loving forever home. He’s 5 years old, weighs 61 lbs, and while he struggled in the shelter environment, he has really blossomed in his foster home.
This sweet boy has been through a lot—he was found caught on a fence with burned paws, so he can still be a little nervous around new people. But with patience and kindness, Dexter will show you what a wonderful dog he truly is. He loves his stuffed toys, enjoys relaxing in his own bed, and is just waiting for a family who will give him the love and security he deserves.

We have an application process, a yard check, a meet and greet with any existing animals, and a contract. Our adoption fees are anywhere from $150 - $300 depending on the age of the animal and the amount of medical treatment we provided for the animal prior to going up for adoption. We also have a Senior for Seniors program where we offer a significant discount to any senior citizen wishing to adopt a dog or cat over the age of 7.
We serve Las Vegas, Nevada and Henderson, Nevada. We may adopt to a neighboring state, however we do not transport our animals. The adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the animal prior to adoption.

We have adoption events every Sunday at the Petco located at 8495 W. Warm Springs Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89113. We are there from 12 - 3. If there is an animal you are interested in meeting, please email us so we can ensure they will be present at the event. We have close to 60 animals at all times, and not all are able to attend our event.
