Meet Salem – a beautiful 2-year-old female Pit mix (grey and white).
âï¸ Spayed/Neutered: Yes
âï¸ Vaccines: Not current
âï¸ Potty trained: No
âï¸ Crate trained: No
Salem was adopted from Yolo County Animal Shelter about 6 months ago. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who enjoys attention from people and is friendly with children. She is excited with visitors and often likes to jump up and sit in laps.
For the first several months, Salem did well with the family’s two other dogs and enjoyed playtime. Recently, however, her behavior has changed—she has become reactive toward one of the other dogs in the home, leading to a serious altercation. Because of this, her owner feels she would do best as the only pet in the household where she can thrive without conflict.
Despite these challenges with other animals, Salem remains loving and people-oriented. She enjoys affection and would make a wonderful companion for someone able to give her a structured, patient, and animal-free home.
If you are interested in adopting Salem, please contact her owner, Michelle, directly:
