Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Clancy came to us as a tiny hissing baby girl. She was very sick with a serious upper respiratory infection and we could tell had been in pain for a long time. The infection was too great and had gone on for too long, and she ended up having to lose one eye because of it. But despite the really tough start, she is slowly warming up to people and learning to trust. She will be your best friend for a cheese stick (though we don't recommend feeding cheese to your kitties on a regular basis!) She plays well with the other kittens, is not afraid of dogs, and tolerates her foster family's kiddos holding her. She's good about telling you when she's uncomfortable, giving a hiss to say 'no thank you' (no bites or scratching - she's a good girl!)
Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Please note, young kitties do best with another kitty in the household.
To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!
