Handsome Avocado came into our care as part of a colony management project in the spring of 2025. While some cats from that location were fixed, vaccinated and returned to the colony, Avocado showed us early on that he had potential. We are SUPER happy that we took the time to work with him, because he is just an absolutely wonderful and social cat now.

Avocado LOVES to play with toys. It’s just so joyful to watch him play. Avocado also really likes to snuggle. The minute someone sits down in his foster home, Avocado is there, snuggling right up next to them. It’s such a change from how guarded he was in the beginning - and speaks to his wonderful relationship with his foster family.

Avocado has been neutered, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies), treated for fleas and parasites, microchipped, and tested for FIV / FeLV (results were negative). Avocado is an ABSOLUTE GEM of a cat. We are so proud of how well he has done in our foster program.
