This gorgeous young adult male flame point mix came into our care as part of a colony management project in early spring of 2025. While several other cats from the colony returned to the property once they were fixed and vaccinated, Flame was different. He quickly demonstrated that he was interested in being with people.
Flame is a gentle cat who will need a patient and committed adopter to bond with him. He enjoys playing with the other cats in his foster home. Flame is submissive to the other cats, but will engage in play when another cat engages with him first.
Gentle Flame will need a ’soft landing’ in his adoptive home - with someone who will give him time to settle and patient reassurance. Once he trusts you, Flame opens up and reaches for you.
Flame has been neutered, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies), treated for fleas and parasites, microchipped, and tested for FIV / FeLV (results were negative).
