Hello and thank you for taking a moment from your busy schedule to meet your Velvet Wrinkle-Faced Shadow, me, I'm Simisola aka Simi! If you are looking for a cat that is equally quirky, cuddly, and totally unforgettable, then you need not look any further. I have big curious eyes, suede-soft skin, and a heart that just wants to snuggle.
I am a Velcro kitty because I love my humans and I just want to be wherever you are, in your lap or on your laptop, and I want to help you with everything. I love to be loved, I am very affectionate, and love being held and petted. I am playful, smart, and I have a big personality. Think of me as a cat with a little dog energy, loyal, silly, and always ready to entertain you.
I am hairless, which means you'd better be ready to wrangle me into the bathtub once a week. My bare skin will feel sticky and collect dirt if I am not bathed regularly. I also like a clean blanket in my bed, I love a heated bed, and the sun coming in the window is a fav! Watch my skin though, so I don't get sunburned. I'm delicate. You might notice my deformed front leg? Don't worry. I was born that way, and I can get around just fine! My vet doctor also thought I might have had an eye infection as a kitten, which left my eyes a bit cloudy, but it doesn't impair my vision. Oh, and my heart sounded just fine!
I am bonded with my sister, Toulouse Marie, and we do everything together, eat, sleep, play, repeat. We keep each other clean and entertained, my foster mom says she won't let us get separated. I am super happy about that!
These two precious kitties would do best with someone with Sphynx experience and who understands the breed and care that is required. They need an adopter who is proactive about yearly checkups and ideally would be the only pets in the new home. Preferably near or in CA.
My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that's good!
I currently live with my foster family in San Francisco.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
