My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cody is a shy young female cockatiel who is slowly coming out of her shell, thanks to the company of the other cockatiels in her foster home. Watching and learning from them has helped her feel more secure, improve her diet, and she now consistently eats pellets.

Cody still startles easily and can panic when frightened, which sometimes leads to little mishaps like falling or forgetting to flap her wings when she tries to fly. With patience and gentle support, she is learning to be braver every day. One of her favorite pastimes is spending time on the screened porch, enjoying the fresh air and watching the world outside.

Cody will thrive in a quiet home with other birds who can continue to show her the ropes. Her ideal adopter will be patient, respectful of her boundaries, and willing to help her slowly build confidence. With time, consistency, and the right flock, Cody has the potential to blossom into a more self-assured companion.
