Cookie is a very gentle, affectionate, and playful 4 year young “kitten.” We originally rescued him with his brother when they were babies, and we were so excited when they were adopted together. However, earlier this year, his people dropped him off at a kill shelter due to “financial reasons,” and we had to rescue him again. He is the sweetest boy, gives kisses, and loves other cats. He is the best big brother to our other foster kittens and is equally great with similarly aged cats and seniors. Cookie enjoys pets, being picked up and loved on.

Our adoption fee is $115 per kitty and each is fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, treated for fleas, microchipped and comes with full vet records.

More about this rescue
We are a small foster-based cat rescue, serving the Port Washington, Manhasset, Roslyn, and Great Neck areas. We started this rescue 15 years ago when we came upon several large colonies of cats in our neighborhood that were rapidly multiplying and could not find a shelter or rescue to help take in any of the kittens. So we learned how to socialize and vet the kittens and find them forever homes on our own. At the same time, we learned how to trap, neuter, and return (TNR) to keep those colonies from reproducing. We now rescue, fix and find homes for around 70 cats and kittens per year. We are all volunteer-based and our fosters include close friends and neighbors.
