Adoption Special 10-21 to 10-31-25 $75 for single cat and $125 for bonded pair.
Watson is affectionate, sweet, and lazy boy who mainly spends his days sunbathing by the window, curling up in laps, and eating all the food he can get. While Watson mainly likes to relax, he also loves to play with his siblings. Truly you haven’t known cute until you’ve had Enola curl up on your lap.
Watson has been introduced to cats, dogs, and kids. In recent interactions with adult cats and dogs his reactions include two things. Looking up to see who’s arrived, then immediately rolling over and going back to sleep. Watson’s calm nature makes him ideal when young children are considered. He has been introduced to children of all ages (babies to teens) and when they inevitably pick him up, snuggle, and play with him, he enjoys the attention. In cases where he has gotten overwhelmed, he retreats to a place such as under the bed to rest for a while.
Watson would do well to go to a home with a loving family who would enjoy playing with him. We would prefer he is adopted with a sibling or to a family that has another young cat.

Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet.
Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.
In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.
