Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT ***
Meet Prince! He is currently in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is almost ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent.
Prince is a sweet, smart, and loving boy who enjoys both playtime and quality time with his people. He does well with dogs his own size or larger and would love a canine friend who can match his energy.
Prince has a very high prey drive, so he is not a good fit for a home with cats, small animals, or small dogs. With the right setup, though, he truly shines.
This handsome guy enjoys snuggling with his favorite humans, playing tug, and—perhaps most of all—food! Prince has been waiting for his forever home longer than expected, and we honestly can’t figure out why. His unique coloring makes him truly one-of-a-kind, inside and out.
Prince is both kennel trained and house trained. He has been around kids in public settings and seemed to really enjoy them. He was gentle, respectful, and knew not to jump, making him a great candidate for a family with children.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with striking looks and a big heart, Prince may be the perfect addition to your home.
He'll graduate towards the end of January.
