That’s what you can expect from Taco John, a 78-pound, 3.5-year-old pit mix with a heart of gold. Since he arrived as a stray, his history is a mystery, but his future is sure to be filled with snuggles.
Generally a laid-back guy, Taco John is ready for a lazy afternoon on the couch or a nice, long stroll through the neighborhood. He seems to enjoy medium-to-low-energy playmates, so he might do well in a home with another dog. Based on his calm personality, we think he could also fit in with cats and kids, though we always recommend slow and controlled introductions.
This handsome boy is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations and preventatives.

If you are interested in adopting and meeting one of our adoptable animals one-on-one, we will have you fill out our adoption questionnaire.

Meet the Pet
After completing the adoption questionnaire, you will be paired with one of our Adoption Counselors to help you find the right match.

Sign Adoption Contract
If a match is made, we will finalize the adoption paperwork and have you sign an adoption contract.
4.
Take the Pet Home
Once the contract is signed you may take your new pet home, typically same day!
