My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ralphie! He is a 6-year-old, male, Lab/Poodle mix who weighs approximately 57 lbs. He is currently in a foster home waiting for his forever family.

Ralphie is a sweet and friendly boy who loves to play but also spends quite a bit of time lounging and napping. He would be happiest as an only pet in a child-free home. Ralphie is gentle, but can jump on people when excited. He is house trained, leash trained and eager to please. Ralphie is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination, booster to date and heartworm negative.

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
