My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🎵 Meet Treble! 🎵
Treble is a special little kitten who needs a very loving, understanding home. He has had a difficult start in life — his littermates passed away suddenly, and Treble has experienced a seizure. We suspect he may have FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a serious and often fatal illness, though sometimes cats live longer than expected with careful care and monitoring or possibly another illness that causes seizures. While we don’t know exactly what the future holds for him, we do know he is full of personality and deserves a family who will love him unconditionally.

Treble has been living with other cats but has recently begun to feel uncomfortable around them, occasionally growling. Because of this, he would do best in a home where he can be the center of attention and get all the love and care he needs without feeling stressed.

Treble is ready to fill someone’s heart with joy, curiosity, and affection, whether his time is short or he enjoys a longer, happy life. He needs a compassionate person willing to cherish every moment with him.

Treble has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $75, and as with all New Leash cats, he is to be strictly indoor and never declawed.

If your heart has room for a special little soul who will love you fiercely, Treble is waiting to meet you. 💛

More about this rescue

New Leash on Life is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in our community through shelter, placement, spay/neuter, education and awareness.

Our goals include the following:

To educate the public about the importance of having their pets spayed or neutered, and to provide low or no cost surgeries for those in need.

To shelter and provide care for stray, abused, or relinquished animals.

To educate the general population about the seriousness of pet overpopulation.

To end euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation.

To find good homes for the animals in our care.

Our hope for the future is that there will be no unwanted, unloved or abandoned companion animal. We will continue with our aggressive spay/neuter campaign and our owner education programs in the hopes that any pet ever adopted will find a permanent, loving home. We believe that with the involvement of our community we will make a significant impact on the welfare of companion animals, but we need your help and understanding. Together, will make the difference.
