My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let me introduce you to Cleo, our sweet, soulful Great Pyrenees mix who weighs about 70 pounds. She’s not just a pretty face (though her big brown eyes will melt you); she’s also incredibly smart. She watches everything and picks up on new things quickly—she already knows how to sit, stay, lay down, and “leave it,” and she’s learning more in doggie school every week.

Cleo is potty trained and a great passenger in the car. At night, she sleeps soundly on our bed, curled up like she owns the place—and honestly, we don’t mind one bit. We haven’t tried her in a crate since the one we have is too small for her, but she’s been just fine without it.

She loves chasing squirrels and once lunged at a neighbor’s cat—she thought it was just another squirrel in disguise—so a cat-free home is definitely best for her. She enjoys playing with other big dogs, but she’d also be perfectly content as the only dog in the house, soaking up all the love.

At training, she’s been around small dogs and done well, but since everyone is on a leash there, we can’t say for sure how she’d be in an off-leash setting.

She’s up to date on all her shots, and her spay is scheduled for the end of September.

Cleo is one of the gentlest, most loving dogs we’ve ever had the joy of knowing. She’s not big on licking faces, but every now and then, she’ll surprise you with a kiss. She really is something special.
