My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You`ll be hurty without this Gertie! My name is Gertie, or Gertrude if you feel like being formal. I came to ECCHA as a stray, and felt quite under the weather for a little while. I am a timid, quiet, and loving lady, and I`m more than ready to get out of a kennel and into your home! I am a bit shy at first, and will take time to adjust in new situations, but I am incredibly sweet once you start to pet me. The way to my heart is soft treats, attention, and most importantly: CHIN SCRATCHES!!! I am an older lady, so like most kitties my age, I do need to get a dental cleaning done soon. We learned that I am more of a coexisting-type lady when it comes to other pets - so if you have another furry friend at home who is the same way we could be a good fit! I`m looking for a quiet home where I can get all the love and care I deserve! I am already spayed. Feel like getting in with Gertie?
