A tender-hearted eight-and-a-half-year-old Yorkshire Terrier currently living in Sterling, VA, whose spirit is wrapped in a silky coat of fawn and black, and whose loyalty is as deep as her love for a warm lap.
Tiny in size, just 7 pounds, but big in heart, Chloe is the kind of pup who quietly fills a room with her gentle presence. She thrives on routines, finds pure joy in tummy and ear rubs, and has a particular fondness for curling up on laps, preferably yours. Her signature move? Perching on the couch like a little human, surveying the world around her with calm curiosity and charm. And when those famous zoomies strike, she’ll have you grinning ear to ear as she zips and twirls with delight!
Chloe lives with a seizure disorder, which is beautifully managed with the help of her veterinary neurology team and a regular medication schedule, including injections every 5–6 weeks. She’s gone months without a single episode and once even enjoyed over a year seizure-free. When one is near, she’ll seek comfort close to her favorite person, nuzzling into bed or curling up on a lap for reassurance. Despite this medical need, she continues to live a joyful, active, and peaceful life. Proof that resilience can come in the smallest, sweetest packages.
Chloe hasn’t been fully socialized with other dogs and would do best as the only pup in a calm, loving home. She positively adores people, especially children. She’s never shown any aggression, just affection and a deep desire to be close to those she loves. Left alone briefly, she’ll quietly rest near the door, patiently awaiting your return. She's even become more relaxed during car rides and now enjoys watching the world go by from the passenger seat.
Chloe is looking for a family who will treasure her gentle soul, keep her health in check with the same attentiveness she’s known, and welcome her as a true family member. Could you be the warm lap and steady hand Chloe needs for her next chapter?
