My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jett was living in a very terrible environment before he came into our rescue. He was one of 12 cats living in a 24x36 kennel in the backseat of a homeless woman's car. The 12 cats were in the kennel with a litter box and food bowl and were literally laying on top of each other. They were all malnourished and covered in fleas. Since he was rescued, he has gained weight, tested negative for diseases, been vaccinated and neutered. He is now a very sweet boy who loves to be held and loved on. He had to have his right eye removed but this does not slow him down at all! He was born in September 2024. He has been neutered & is up to date on his vaccinations. All of our cats are fostered in Tennessee but we transport to most states.

More about this rescue

Wild About Cats of Cumberland County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to humanely reducing the outside cat population in Cumberland County through Trap-Neuter-Return. Neutered feral cats are placed at feeding stations that also provide shelter. Young kittens and friendly strays are neutered and provided medical care before being placed for adoption.
