My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

• To meet or adopt Harvey, please submit a Q&A for him on our website: http://goodhomepetadoptions.org/adopt We are not able to reply to DMs, emails or inquiries made through 3rd party pet adoption websites.
• Read more about Harvey on Instagram @goodhome_handsome_harvey
• DOB: 8/10/2016 (est)
• Temperament: Chatty, people-oriented, and very smart (I love puzzles!). My foster mom calls me a “puppy cat”!

Greetings, I’m Harvey! I came to Good Home when my former people decided they couldn’t keep me and a nice lady at the vet I go to decided to foster me. Now I’m staying in her home, following her around, and filling her in on the details of my day!

My foster person says I’m a “puppy cat" because I like to follow my people around from room to room and I will come when you call my name. I am a social boy who will chat with you as you go about your day, greeting you at the door when you come home and reminding you when it’s time for me to eat. I live with a few other cats and a big dopey dog, and while this isn’t my ideal living situation, I’m not intimidated. In fact, my excellent manners notwithstanding, I’m definitely the boss of that dog!

When I am not engaging you in conversation, my other favorite activities include sleeping in a cozy sunspot, rolling around with a catnip toy, and solving my puzzle toys in record time. I’m a calm but inquisitive boy who wants to be included in your goings-on and loves being your companion!

I would do great as a single cat in a home with a devoted human or humans. Small children probably aren’t ideal for me as they are a little too unpredictable for my taste. I think I’d be a wonderful coworker for a person that works from home as I’ll happily keep you company AND give you notes on your projects!
