Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ABOUT LUNA
Luna is a 4-year-old Husky mix seeking a patient, experienced owner. Luna arrived at HAP in March, scared and unsure of the world around her. While we don’t know her full history, it’s clear she has endured some hardships. At first, Luna can be timid when meeting new people, but she has made incredible progress since her arrival. Once she feels safe, her true self shines through, a sweet, playful, and wonderfully goofy girl! Luna loves playing with toys, enjoys spending time outside, and thrives embracing her independence!
**If interested in adopting Luna, please reach out to our trainer, Ben Touchton, at btouchton@hapde.org
Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
