Meet Solo!
Solo is a devoted companion who loves to be right by his person’s side—he truly is his human’s shadow. He is about 4 months old, 26 pounds, healthy and fully vaccinated. He is too young to neuter just yet. While he can be a little more confident and dominant than his brother Link, he quickly responds to appropriate corretion, whether it comes from his human or his canine foster brothers.
Solo is a gem in the crate—he settles right in and never makes a sound. He’s also learning fast and already knows drop it, leave it, and down. Like his brother, he’s developing an interest in balls and looks like he’ll be a great fetch partner with a little practice. Solo also has a playful side—he enjoys “stalking” the neighborhood birds that like to perch on “his” fence, which keeps him entertained and curious.
With his loyal nature, good manners, and eagerness to learn, Solo will thrive in a home that gives him love, structure, and plenty of time with his favorite people. To adopt, please visit bcrrt.com and complete an application.

Once we have your application we will begin our screening and matching process so we can help find you a perfect match.
All Applicants are interviewed, reference checks and a home visit completed.
Once approved and you have met a dog that you would like to adopt, an adoption contract will be completed and an adoption donation of $300.00 requested to complete the adoption process.
BCR&R is totally dependent on our volunteers and foster homes, most of whom have full time careers and commitments outside of BCR&R. As a result, we work with potential adoptive families in the evenings and weekends.

Border Collie Rescue & Rehab (BCR&R) is a network of volunteers and foster homes dedicated to helping save Border Collies, Border Collie mixes and other similar herding breeds.
The dogs in our program have come from shelters and the streets and we bring them into our homes and provide them with the training and love necessary to help them become valued members of a family. We call it our Rescue & Rehab Program.
All dogs are provided with necessary veterinary care and are microchipped. The dogs in our program will live with us as part of our families for a minimum of 3 to 4 weeks for evaluation and training in addition to ensuring overall health.
