MAX - 6 years old, kid/cat/dog social, typical cattle dog behavior
Max is a vibrant and active boy surrendered for being too hyper and needing more room for his energy.
This dog needs exercise, playtime and room to move.

This dog needs exercise, playtime and room to move.
Reinforcing the fact that this boy is always on the move, please do some research on cattle dogs bc they, like all other breeds, have specific characteristics which may or may not align with your family's lifestyle.
Max is fun. He is the one bouncing off the walls. He is ready to go at all times.
He was silly in our shelter playgroup yard with the other dogs. He ran and chased and grabbed other dogs in his cattle dog style... always with a smile on his face!
Max is also great with children and cats.
He has some separation anxiety and is known to be destructive in the home if left alone. We recommend crating in these instances. PS He is already crate trained so there you go!
If you have done your research on the breed and feel Max would fit in perfectly with you and your family, come on in to meet him! He is currently in a back kennel so if you don't see him, please just ask!
