My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kaiser: Your Big-Hearted, Muscular Companion!

Looking for a loyal, high-energy, and seriously handsome dog to join your adventures? Meet Kaiser, a magnificent 3-year-old Boxer/Mastiff mix who weighs in at a solid 90 lbs of pure muscle!

A Treat-Motivated Gentleman:
Kaiser is an extremely smart boy who is well-versed in his basic commands—especially when there’s a tasty reward involved! He's a quick study and loves to please. While his initial excitement can cause a little leash-pulling at the start of a walk, he settles down within 5 minutes and becomes a perfect gentleman, walking right by your side and following your lead. He'd make an excellent hiking buddy!

His Best Home Environment:
Kids: Kaiser is wonderful with children! However, due to his sheer size and exuberant energy, he would thrive best in a home with kids over the age of 10 who are comfortable and familiar with large, playful breeds.
Other Dogs: He's a social guy with a rough-and-tumble play style. He follows cues from other dogs well and would be happiest with other pups his size or larger who enjoy a good romp! He would do best in a home with at least one other dog, but could also be a solo dog if his family ensures he gets plenty of mental and physical enrichment.
Small Animals: Important Note: Kaiser has a strong prey drive. For his safety and theirs, he must not go to a home with cats, small mammals, or small-sized dogs (toy breeds, etc.).

The Sweetheart Side of Kaiser:
This big guy is a total lover! He hasn't quite grasped his own size, and his favorite thing is giving big, loving hugs! You can count on him to be a reliable and easy housemate:
✅ House Trained: Never had an accident in his foster home!
✅ Crate Trained: Does phenomenal in his crate.

Kaiser is ready to share his big heart and endless enthusiasm with an active, dog-experienced family. If you're looking for a dog that can keep up on the trails and reward you with giant cuddles, Kaiser is your man!

More about this rescue

Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
