And lets get some of these amazing pups we brought into the rescue introduced individually and start looking for their perfect forever homes.
We will start with one I might be a little partial to - sweet Bindi - this girl is beyond precious and hard to tell in the pictures but has a little overbite that almost makes it look like she is smiling sometimes.
We have no idea what breed any of these puppies are - they came from a horrible situation where they were all fending for themselves and we got them to safety - it is estimated that Bindi was born on 6/25/25 and she is currently 6 pounds - we do not think she is going to be a large dog but a medium sized dog at best - those soulful eyes will melt your heart.
And yes she is young but this girl is well on her way to being 100% potty trained - she can go all night without any accidents and is doing so good on her leash and going potty outside. She is doing well with crate training and once lights are out - you don't hear a peep from her.
She would love to find a family to call her own - maybe one with some kids or other pups to play with.
She is honestly going to be a blessing to some lucky family for sure.
How adoption of a puppy works with us - you fill out the application that can be found on our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org - we do require vet references and we do a home visit - we do not do adoptions on the spot and with puppies because we continue to pay for their care until their puppy vaccines/spay/neuter are complete - it is a foster to adopt situation. We cover their monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention until they receive their last puppy vaccine and rabies vaccine at 16 weeks old. We do cover their puppy vaccines and rabies vaccine and we cover their neuter/spay when they are old enough as that is part of the adoption contract. Bindi is already microchipped, has had her first puppy vaccine, 2nd one is scheduled, she has been dewormed and will start her monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention next week.
Her adoption fee is $250.00. All of our adoptable animals are in private foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina - we do not set up meet and greets until the adoption application has been filled out and reviewed.
