Here's what the humans have to say about me:
South Paw is a goofy guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s neutered and medically up-to-date, and is ready to bring adventures and love into a forever home.
When he was just a kitten, South Paw faced some complications that required a perineal urethrostomy—a surgery that creates a new opening to help him pee more easily. Now fully recovered, South Paw will need to be monitored to make sure he isn’t straining or having any difficulty urinating. All in all, South Paw is like any other cat– he just needs a little extra attention to keep him feeling his best.
South Paw needs time to warm up to new places and animals, but once he's ready, he can be friends with just about anyone! South Paw is playful and loves the company of other cats. He also befriended dogs while in foster care (and even started to act like a dog himself). A slow introduction would be best to keep him comfortable.
Take South Paw home today, and let the adventures begin!
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
