Hi, I’m Ripley, an 8-year-old, 20-pound female Schnauzer mix with a snowy white coat and the gentlest of souls. I was found abandoned in an apartment complex, and while no one ever came for me, I was loved once… you can tell by how much I adore people and how sweet I am.
My finder said I’m house-trained, friendly with dogs, cats, and even kids, and as sweet as pie. The CAMO team is still getting to know me, but so far, everything points to me being just as wonderful as described. When I came into rescue, my teeth were in terrible shape, and the vet had to remove them all. Don’t worry, I feel so much better now, and it certainly hasn’t slowed me down from enjoying my food or my life.

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another.
