We are delighted to introduce Blossom 🌸! A beautiful 2.5 year old tortie, Blossom is a gentle and calm girl looking for a soft spot to land and a forever person to spend her days with.
Blossom is very communicative and will let you know when she is hungry or wants to play. She enjoys playing with a wand toy and likes anything cat nip. She insists we let her future forever person know that her favorite treats are turkey, chicken, squeeze treats, and canned salmon!
Blossom is looking a calm and patient home that understands she will need time to settle in and get comfortable. New things can be scary, and we've promised her that we will find her the purr-fect companion to grow together. She doesn't mind other kitties and she may benefit from another friendly feline to show her the ropes.
Blossom is a sweet girl with a small heart defect that makes her heart work a little harder than most. The good news is that with medication and regular vet checkups, she can live a happy, playful life. She just needs an adopter who will keep up with her care and make sure any future vet knows about her heart condition — especially if she ever needs anesthesia.
Blossom may need a little extra attention, but in return she’ll give you a whole lot of love. 💕

About Ten Lives:
Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

All potential adopters must fill out the Ten Lives adoption application, show proof of either home ownership or landlords approval, and current veterinary records for any resident animals. All approved adopters will be required to sign the Ten Lives adoption agreement.
